Who we are

The Pit is a music bracket game made by Stage Dive. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at contact@stagedive.co.site.

What data we collect

• If you play anonymously: we store a session token in your browser to save your progress. No personal information is collected.
• If you sign up: we store your email address and display name. You can sign up with Google or email and password.
• Bracket activity: we store your picks and results to show aggregate statistics (e.g. what percentage of people picked a certain winner). This data is never linked to your name publicly.

Why we collect it

• —To save your bracket progress so you can resume where you left off
• —To show community results across all completed brackets
• —To let you create and manage your own brackets if you sign up

Who we share it with

We don't sell or share your data with third parties. We use the following services to run the site:

• —Supabase — stores your account and bracket data (servers in the EU)
• —Vercel — hosts the website
• —Google — if you choose to sign in with Google

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email contact@stagedive.co.site and we'll action it within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
